International Languages Credits

Today student’s live in an increasingly interdependent and global world and the study of international languages provides students the opportunity to learn an additional language, enrich their understanding of how languages work and to develop greater understanding and sensitivity towards other cultures.

The International Languages Secondary Credit Program operates as part of our Night School Program  and is open to all adult and high school students. There is no cost for Canadian residents to participate in the program and students can earn credits in International Languages courses to use towards the completion of their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

Adult students may register in person or by fax at the Gary Allan High School (Head Office) in Burlington.

International Language credit courses offered for the upcoming school year include Arabic, Japanese, Spanish and German. Courses are offered at the introductory and advanced levels and most classes run Monday and Wednesday evenings during the two sessions of our Night School program. The German language program is a full-year program and takes place on Saturday mornings.
